Almost any number you can think of is a Real Number. Real Numbers are called "real" because they are not "imaginary". But they are not "real" in the real world. They just represent exactly the value that we want. For example, 0.5 is exactly half in mathematics but in real life, it is really difficult to get exactly half of anything!
